AAHK and our key aviation-related business partners (BPs) have made a steadfast commitment to achieving Net Zero by 2050.

Our airport-wide approach to carbon reduction fosters close collaboration with stakeholders, including the 29 key aviation-related business partners who have joined the HKIA Net Zero Carbon Pledge. Recognising that over 40% of HKIA’s ground emissions come from our business partners, this collective commitment enables us to achieve greater and more impactful carbon reduction outcomes than any one party could accomplish alone.

These business partners represent various sectors vital to HKIA, including airlines (excluding aircraft emissions), aircraft maintenance, aviation fuel, cargo handling, catering, ground services equipment maintenance, government departments, ramp handling, vehicle fuel, and more.
